Genius Jones, a Miami Beach boutique which sells big-ticket toddler items, plans to launch an e-commerce site.

When a stylish young woman entered his South Beach toy store for lunchtime browsing, Daniel Kron greeted her and helped her pick out an arty toy for her nephew. The whole time he kept an ear out for possible phone calls.

``I get phone orders all the time,'' he said. Because Genius Jones, the tiny Miami Beach store at 1661 Michigan Ave., has developed a national following, the phone orders are important.

``Who knows how many orders I'm missing by not having a website," said Kron.
