Is 2 1/2 Too Old to Be a V.P. for Design?
Geane Brito, a former
fashion model, and her husband, Daniel Kron, a former
photographer and dot-commer, moved to Miami Beach from
Manhattan in 2001 after their first child, Isadora, was
born. Two years later they had a second child, Magnus,
shown with his parents, and opened a 700-square-foot
shop, Genius Jones, which specializes in fine vintage
and contemporary children's furnishings. In addition
to modern nursery furniture like the Netto Collection
and strollers like the Bugaboo Frog, they offer children's
collectibles like a new reproduction of the Rietveld
Zig Zag chair ($395) and a 5-by-7-foot wool pile Babar
rug ($2,450). Toys include a doll stroller, in far left
photo, $199. |
