For generations, or so it seemed, children's furniture ran the gamut from colonial to cute, and little else. But today, high-end design for nurseries, playrooms and children's suites are all the rage. Babies are in vogue these days (come to think of it, when aren't they?), and with the likes of Gweneth Paltrow and Stella McCartney leading the way, they are suddenly hip. "For a long time people just surrended to the mass market," said Daniel Kron, who with his wife Geane Brito founded the Miami Beach and Miami-based Genius Jones just shy of five years ago. "Now there are other options."
